Instead of installing doors on the sides of the cabinets, custom side panels are designed to coordinate with the profiles of the doors and drawer fronts. Panel details, along with the crown moldings and light rails, are configured to give the cabinets doors a furniture styled, semi-inset look.
Hunterdon, NJ & Bucks, PA: Islands and peninsulas are upgraded with combinations of posts, panels, beadboard, corbels, legs and baseboards. Posts and corbels are typically installed on custom back-plates for an upscale, tailored look.
Extra details include a variety of window valances and our exclusive soffit treatments.

Pennington, NJ, Before & After: Here a window was framed out to match the rest of the cabinetry, for a complete and polished look.
Pennington, NJ, Before: As part of their kitchen renovation, these homeowners wanted the soffit and desk removed and the refrigerator to be housed more attractively.
After: Mission accomplished.
Glen Gardner, NJ, Before: The wall alongside of the refrigerator interfered with its function and closed off the entrance into the room.
After: The wall is pulled back and a column is built, as is a surround with open shelving and decorative moldings. Holes and seams are filled.
Flemington, NJ, Before: A large refrigerator stands in corner and unfortunately becomes a focal point of the space.
After: As part of this refacing project the upper cabinets are pulled forward, the soffit area is expanded, and the refrigerator is given a built-in look.
Pittstown, NJ, After: Our basic refrigerator surround frames a free-standing refrigerator. It gives new usefulness to those upper cabinets which nobody can ever reach, while also providing a partially built-in look.
West Windsor, NJ, Before: After months of dealing with the big box refacing companies, these homeowners were frustrated because no one would address this refrigerator area in a creative fashion.
After: The pantry and refrigerator area were restyled to give the space a finished look and visually make it part of the rest of the kitchen.
Custom Range Hoods
Pennington, NJ, Before: These clients wanted to remove the microwave from over the stove and install a range hood instead.
After: The removal of the microwave from the corner visually opens up the space.
Ringoes, NJ, Before: The homewowners wanted a cabinet style hood, and to have their microwave fit the space better.
After: A custom hood, finished in the cabinet finish, and a new microwave and surround give this space a sleek look. Over-cabinet lighting adds extra ambiance. This design has become one of our best sellers.
Basking Ridge, NJ, After: One element of a partial renovation of a Somerset County kitchen was this custom built range hood.
Tewksbury, NJ, After: This custom range hood is flanked by cabinets housing pull-out spice racks.
Pittstown, NJ, After: Upper cabinets were removed and replaced by this custom range hood.
Ovens & Microwaves
Pennington, NJ, Before: The owner of this kitchen wanted to remove the microwave from above the cooktop. A serious chef, along with a new, premium range, she wanted a microwave convection unit, whic could serve as a second oven. Location was the only challenge.
After: A new, slightly larger end cabinet replaced the previous one. Fortunately she was able to find a granite remnant which matched the rest of the counter. A pot drawer was installed below the new oven. And the baking tastes better than ever!
New Hope, PA, After: A standard oak island was modified to house a microwave unit, then refaced with new bamboo doors and panels.
Hope, PA, Before: The main problem area in this kitchen was the wall oven, a particular area of dislike as the owners felt the space always looked unfinished.
After: The wall oven was framed out to give it more weight and a tailored look.
Appliance Garages, Coffee Stations, & Message Centers
Annandale, NJ, Before: This custom refacing project included a repurposing of the desk in order to accommodate the homeowners' various appliances, pots and pans.
After: The desk was modified to include a new cabinet with pot drawers while the upper cabinets, which were moved next to those alongside the new window, were replaced with deeper units which were designed to accomodate a custom appliance garage.
Flemington, NJ, Before: This wasn't the first refacing project where we were asked to "do something" with the desk.
After: In this instance it becamea coffee station. The drawer below the coffee unit holds sundries related to a relaxing cup of hot brew.
Ringoes, NJ, Before: This Ringoes family wanted a "command center" for all of their calenders and notes. They used to tape everything to this side panel.
After: Only the handle notch gives away the secret of what is behind this panel. No more magnets on the fridge or sticky notes on the cabinets! This custom, built-in message center is perfect for the busy family on the go.
Custom Built Additions
Doylestown, PA: This small saltbox home couldn't afford to waste any space. A narrow hallway which leads to an outdoor patio offered some opportunities for creative design.
The space became a butler's pantry, complete with custom cabinetry, a wine refrigerator, beverage sink, and opening to the kitchen for easy service. The cabinet doors were specially constructed to frame the antique, leaded glass panels the owner found at a local shop.
Readington, NJ: Two islands - one with under counter beverage storage and seating, the other with an oven and both an induction and gas cooktop - were custom made for this busy family. To view more shots of these and otehr custom built islands, visit the Kitchen Islands portion of our portfolio.
This Pennington, NJ kitchen now has a colorful focal point. We built this custom hutch and completed it with our own China Red Rub-off finish.
This Yardley, PA kitchen opens into the family room. The outside of this penninsula now houses a custom entertainment center.
