New Design Lifts a Hopewell, NJ Library
Before: The pickled finish on the custom shelving gave this Hopewell, NJ library a dated look.
After: Inspired by a popular furniture line, carpentry adds graceful arches, a lit shadow box, and fabulous French doors. A rich, walnut-tone finish completes the look. Still to arrive are doors with mesh inlay center panels for the lower shelves on the cabinets.
Custom Entertainment Centers
Before: A Doylestown, PA family wanted to update the oak cabinets in their family room, but the fireplace presented a challenge. They never used it because it had structural issues, and they even tried to hide it behind one of their sofas.
After: Because the homeowners never liked or used the fireplace, we decided to stop trying to design around it. The existing cabinets were removed, then altered and finished in our shop. A new unit was built and included shelving, cabinetry, and a lighted shadow box. The entire structure received a cappuccino painted glazed finish. A wood-tone glaze was applied to the back walls prior to installation. We can't wait to see it put all back together.
Bucks County, PA: The back side of this kitchen penninsula faced the family room in this Washington's Crossing, PA home. The space was plain and this was where the homeowners wanted to place their television and media accessories. Custom shelving was built to accomodate the electronics equipment. Beadboard was installed to dress up the eating area.

Before: A desk with a hutch top calls out for a bit more interest.
After: Detail moldings, beadboard with a contrasting finish, and glass shelves are just what this piece needs.
Before: A built-in bar in a Hampton, NJ family room is bland with bleached maple wood.
After: Decorative moldings, an arched opening, bottom shelf, beadboard, and glass shelves make this piece substantial.
Bedroom Closet Built-ins are Reinvented
Morris County, NJ, Before: A built-in, custom wardrobe was too dated to keep, too good in quality to rip out.
After: New doors and moldings, along with our China Yellow finish, was the answer. New moldings with a kettle finish give the mirror new life.
Tewksbury, NJ: Pine built-ins are given new life with new doors, stained glass accents, glitzy knobs, and our Celery Seed finish.
